How lovely to leave what you write as a legacy for those you love. Even when I was losing my husband, I didn’t think to make a recording of his voice, to be able to hear his words of how much he loved me. I wish I had thought of so many things before I lost the love of my life of 60 years!

Thank you for sharing these profound thoughts, Yonah.

Early this morning I found out that my dad, who has been battling cancer for the past year, is going to the palliative care home tomorrow. I knew this day was coming. I didn’t think it would be so soon. Of course, my first instinct was to look up, to ask God for a good word, something to help me, to guide me through this coming storm. Then this message appeared in my inbox with God’s perfect timing. As I read it, I felt the depth and urgency of your message. You speak a truth that is difficult to bear but vital to understand. Thank you and blessings to you and your family.

I'm a Christian living in Southern California yet all I want is to live among the limestone hills of Judea. I understand exactly how you feel. My immediate family have all passed on. Nothing ever is as it seems. After years of my mother and father's passing I finally had a dream with both of them talking with me as if it was right now. They were asking me did I ever get a pension and how am I doing in life. They've been gone since 2012 and 2015. I dream of the Judean hills. Now the only thing that seems to matter is to live by faith for God and to be a part of his kingdom. God bless you and your family. Glory to Hashem 🙏🇮🇱🇮🇱 Am Yisrael Chai!!🕎✡️🇮🇱

Everyone thinks we die only once. No so. We die six times:

The first is the last time body draws breath.

The second is the last time anyone remembers our voice.

The third is the last time anyone remembers what we look like.

The fourth is the last time anyone remembers us as a person.

The fifth is the last time anyone says our name.

The sixth is the last time anyone thinks of us.
