How lovely to leave what you write as a legacy for those you love. Even when I was losing my husband, I didn’t think to make a recording of his voice, to be able to hear his words of how much he loved me. I wish I had thought of so many things before I lost the love of my life of 60 years!

Thank you for sharing these profound thoughts, Yonah.

Early this morning I found out that my dad, who has been battling cancer for the past year, is going to the palliative care home tomorrow. I knew this day was coming. I didn’t think it would be so soon. Of course, my first instinct was to look up, to ask God for a good word, something to help me, to guide me through this coming storm. Then this message appeared in my inbox with God’s perfect timing. As I read it, I felt the depth and urgency of your message. You speak a truth that is difficult to bear but vital to understand. Thank you and blessings to you and your family.
