The Netherlands has apparently run out of criminals to chase, drugs to intercept, terrorists to investigate and human traffickers to stop.
So Dutch authorities can now focus on the most dangerous threat facing Europe:
JEWISH WINE, DATES AND OLIVE OIL.
Israeli passengers arriving at Schiphol have reportedly faced additional baggage inspections as authorities enforce a ban on products originating from Israeli communities in Judea and Samaria, eastern Jerusalem and the Golan Heights.
Think about how grotesque that is.
An Israeli gets off a plane from Tel Aviv, and European officials are reportedly interested in whether his suitcase contains a bottle of wine produced by Jews in Judea.
What the hell is wrong with you people?
I LIVE IN JUDEA.
These are not mysterious “settlement goods” manufactured in some sinister underground laboratory.
They are wine.
They are dates.
They are olives.
They are ordinary products grown and produced by ordinary families living ordinary lives.
And Europe has somehow convinced itself that harassing travelers over them is a display of moral courage.
Congratulations.
You found the Cabernet.
Civilization is saved.
And spare me the sanctimonious lectures about “international law” while ordinary travelers are dragged into your political theater.
This is a double standard so blatant it should embarrass anyone still pretending Europe is acting from principle.
Where are these inspections when products come from disputed territories elsewhere?
Where is the outrage over authoritarian regimes, occupations, ethnic persecution and governments that openly threaten their neighbors?
Where are the special searches for goods connected to countries with far worse records?
Apparently, the rules become urgent only when Jews are involved.
That is not principled law enforcement.
That is selective outrage dressed up as virtue.
Europe has spent centuries demonstrating exactly why Jews pay attention when governments begin creating special categories for Jewish communities, Jewish businesses and Jewish products.
No, the Netherlands is not Nazi Germany. The Holocaust is too serious for lazy historical comparisons.
But Europe should have enough historical self-awareness to understand why government officials reportedly singling out travelers arriving from Israel and searching their possessions for prohibited products from Jewish communities is revolting.
You want to criticize Israeli policy?
Go ahead.
You want to oppose Israeli communities in Judea and Samaria?
Fine. Welcome to politics.
But when your grand contribution to Middle East peace becomes rummaging through an Israeli family’s suitcase looking for contraband olive oil, perhaps somebody in The Hague should put down the rulebook and ask:
HAVE WE COMPLETELY LOST OUR MINDS?
Because I have some terrible news for the bureaucrats.
I live in Judea.

And I am not disappearing because some European official stamped “PROHIBITED” on a bottle of wine produced down the road from my house.
Search every suitcase you want.
Inspect every date.
Interrogate every olive.
Confiscate the terrifying Cabernet.
Then congratulate yourselves on your magnificent defense of human rights while ignoring the glaring double standard everyone else can see.
You are not saving the world.
You are not advancing peace.
You are not defending universal principles.
You are performing moral theater at the expense of ordinary people because targeting Israeli Jews is politically convenient.

I’m not Jewish, but i hate raw antisemitism, which this is pure and simple. No legitimate justification for this harassment of Israelis can be found . Israel is hated for the sin of defending itself against foes like Iran and its proxies, which have stated many times that eliminating Israel “ from the river to the sea”is their ultimate goal. Yet it is Israel that it is accused of committing genocide, with scant evidence. Battles with Hamas in Gaza and Hezbollah in Lebanon have occurred , which after the October 7 sneak attack, are understandable. Any other country would be excused for this kind of retaliation and defense. There is no denying that civilian deaths have occurred. This happens in war, as we all know, but genocide means mass graves and/ or dead bodies scattered around by the score. I have seen no evidence in the form of film or otherwise of any such genocide, and believe that if there were any it would have been published long ago. Yet lack of proof does not stop Israel’s foes from making such accusations. Instead Israel is depicted as being a pariah while regimes like Iran make actual threats of genocide without reproof. Does anyone actually believe that if Iran had a nuclear weapon, it wouldn’t have used it on Israel? Hence a war against Iran by Israel and its ally USA
