Mark Carney, spare me the condolences.
Seriously.
Canadian Jews do not need another politician standing behind a microphone explaining how deeply concerned he is about antisemitism.
They need a country in which Jews can go to synagogue on Yom Kippur without an armed police officer standing outside.
And Canada apparently cannot even manage that.
On Yom Kippur, Jews gathered at the Sons of Jacob Synagogue in Belleville, Ontario. They came to fast. They came to pray. They came to stand before God on the holiest day of the Jewish calendar.
Then gunfire erupted outside.
A police officer protecting the synagogue was shot. Bullets struck the building. Jews inside took cover.
Welcome to Jewish life in Canada in 2026.
And now Mark Carney wants to condemn antisemitism.
How magnificent.
Perhaps Ottawa can print the condemnation on sufficiently thick paper and Canadian Jews can use it as body armor.
Because I am sick of the performance.
I am sick of Western politicians treating antisemitism as some mysterious atmospheric phenomenon that suddenly descends from the clouds while refusing to examine the political culture developing underneath their own noses.
And Carney’s government deserves scrutiny.
While Jews worry about protecting synagogues and schools in Canada, his government has found plenty of political energy for Jews living in Judea and Samaria.
Sanctions.
Trade restrictions.
Condemnations.
International declarations.
Apparently Jewish farmers on the hills of Judea represent an urgent international problem requiring coordinated government action.
Meanwhile Canadian Jews require police protection to pray on Yom Kippur.
Priorities are fascinating things.
Now let me state something inconvenient before Canada’s professional outrage industry deliberately misunderstands me.
Mark Carney caused this shooting.
His policies inspired the gunman.
I will not fabricate evidence.
I don’t need to.
My indictment of Carney is more then political.
He is Canada’s Jew hating prime minister.
He owns his government’s anti-Semitic policies.
He owns its Jew hating priorities.
He owns the responsibility for confronting the environment in which Canadian Jews now live.
And I think those priorities stink.
Carney wants to sanction Jews?
Canadian Jews should scrutinize every name.
Every allegation.
Every evidentiary standard.
Every organization.
Every restriction.
Every double standard.
Because Jews have learned, through several thousand years of extremely unpleasant market research, that governments describing certain categories of Jews as uniquely problematic deserves our immediate attention.
And no, I am not interested in pretending Zionism can simply be amputated from Judaism to make everybody at the diplomatic reception more comfortable.
Zion is Judaism.
Jerusalem is Judaism.
Judea is Judaism.
The Land of Israel is Judaism.
Judea is not a word invented by Netanyahu.
Hebron did not suddenly become Jewish because somebody built a house there in 1978.
Shiloh did not become part of Jewish memory after somebody discovered it on Google Maps.
For thousands of years Jews prayed toward Jerusalem.
For thousands of years Jews remembered Zion.
At weddings we remember Jerusalem.
At Passover we proclaim our longing for Jerusalem.
Jewish scripture is saturated with the Land of Israel.
Our calendar follows its seasons.
Our prayers remember its cities.
Our prophets walked its mountains.
Our kings ruled from Jerusalem.
You can disagree with modern Israeli policy. Israelis do that professionally. Put three Israelis around a table and within ten minutes you will have eleven political parties and somebody threatening to leave the WhatsApp group.
But pretending Zionism has nothing meaningful to do with Jewish identity is historical illiteracy dressed up as sophistication.
That is why I find Canada’s posture so repulsive.
Carney wants to tell Jews that Canada loves them while his government participates in measures against Jews living in Judea and Samaria and pursues restrictions on goods produced by Jewish communities there.
I reject that distinction.
You do not get to define acceptable Judaism for me.
You do not get to tell Jews which pieces of our history are politically permissible.
You certainly do not get to tell me that Judea is somehow foreign to the Jewish story.
And then comes the absurdity.
After gunfire outside a synagogue on Yom Kippur, Carney tells Canadian Jews they deserve to worship safely.
Correct.
Congratulations on successfully identifying one of the minimum requirements of civilization.
Now deliver it.
Protect Jewish schools.
Protect Jewish synagogues.
Prosecute people who attack Jews.
Treat antisemitic intimidation as something more serious than an unfortunate public-relations problem.
And stop expecting Jewish Canadians to applaud politicians simply because they can pronounce the word “antisemitism” while standing behind a podium.
There is another option.
Canadian Jews should seriously consider leaving.
Not fleeing.
Leaving.
There is an enormous difference.
Jews are no longer stateless refugees desperately begging countries to open their gates.
We have Israel.
That changes everything.
If you are a Canadian Jew and you decide Canada is no longer where you want your grandchildren to build their future, take your future somewhere else.
Take your family.
Take your business.
Take your investments.
Take your professional expertise.
Take your philanthropy.
Take your entrepreneurship.
Take your university tuition.
Take your startup.
Take your medical practice.
Take your engineering degree.
Take every ounce of Jewish creativity Canada apparently assumes will remain there forever.
Bring it to Israel.
Let Ottawa discover something governments throughout history have repeatedly learned far too late:
Jewish communities contribute enormously to the societies in which they live.
Our presence is not a government entitlement.
Neither is our capital.
Neither is our talent.
Neither is our loyalty.
And please spare me the accusation that telling Jews to consider Aliyah somehow means surrendering to antisemitism.
Nonsense.
Aliyah is not surrender.
Jews returning to Israel is one of history’s most astonishing reversals.
Our ancestors were expelled.
We returned.
Our sovereignty was destroyed.
We rebuilt it.
Hebrew was pushed largely out of ordinary daily speech.
We revived it.
Jerusalem was conquered repeatedly.
Today Jewish children run through its streets speaking the language of Isaiah.
That is not defeat.
That is Jewish history refusing to stay buried.
So, Mark Carney, keep your statement.
Canadian Jews should judge you by something considerably less flattering than your press releases:
Results.
Can Jewish children attend school safely?
Can Jews walk visibly Jewish through Canadian cities?
Can synagogues operate without extraordinary security?
Can Canadian political culture distinguish criticism of Israel from hostility toward Jewish national self-determination?
Those are the tests.
Not another speech.
Not another carefully polished statement.
Not another photograph with Jewish leaders.
Results.
Because on Yom Kippur, while Jews stood before God asking to be inscribed in the Book of Life, gunfire erupted outside a Canadian synagogue.
The investigation will determine why.
Until then, nobody should manufacture the answer.
But Carney does not need an investigation to understand the broader message Canadian Jews are receiving.
They can see it.
They can feel it.
And increasingly they are being forced to plan around it.
For two thousand years Jews asked:
Where will we be safe?
Now we have a different question:
Why should we remain somewhere that makes us ask?
There is a Jewish state.
There is a Jewish army.
There is a Jewish flag flying over Jerusalem.
There are Jewish families building lives from the Mediterranean to the hills of Judea.
And if Canada decides that Jews in Judea deserve economic punishment while Jews in Canada require armed protection outside their synagogues, then Canadian Jews are entitled to draw their own conclusions.
I have drawn mine.
Keep the condemnations.
Keep the diplomatic lectures.
Keep the sanctimonious declarations.
Jews finally have somewhere else to go.

Carney is a WEF puppet, as was the loser before him. They hate Jews. They hate Canadians. They hate all the people who do not belong to their twisted cult. To make things worse, Canadian "leaders" have opened their doors to the mad, murderous Muslims who are there to take control of that country as part of the worldwide caliphate. Why did Canadians elect Commie Clown Carney? Do they have a death wish? Canadian Jews do not have a death wish. Jews need to fight, in Canada, in any other country where Jew haters exist.
